The Ihdzí’ Food Innovation Hub project is a communal commercial kitchen, network, and gathering space at the heart of the Mayo community. The hub is being co-designed to support local food producers, aspiring producers, programmers, and learners, and the availability of local, cultural, and nutritious food options and teachings. It will foster community food production and entrepreneurship by providing and facilitating access to infrastructure.

The Food Innovation Hub aims to facilitate access to shared infrastructure and resources for local food producers, programmers, aspiring entrepreneurs, and interested community members. The hub will support skill development, knowledge and resource sharing, capacity building, and community food connection through mentorship, workshops, and events. Key objectives include nurturing a community-centered food ecosystem, stimulating the local food economy, and increasing access to fresh, healthy, and cultural food options.
